HAYS -- Hays High's Ivan Maldonado scored a trio of goals to spark the Indians past Great Bend in Tuesday's Western Athletic Conference soccer showdown. Indians Ethan Branaman and Kal Lonsdale each converted a pair of goals. Brecken Otte added one goal. Hays (4-2, 2-1 WAC) sweeps Great Bend (1-5, 0-3 WAC) after winning 3-1 last week in Great Bend. The Panthers play Dodge City Thursday at Cavanaugh Field.
